Good deal! Almost too nice to be a donor car....but, what the hey. It will give up many good parts for your build, plus selling the parts not needed to help fund your aeroback project. It's a win-win all around.

Interesting. Never knew you could get the Poncho 265 in a Buick. Heck...I thought mine was low miles at 74k!
I know, right... But yours is in so much better shape than this. Too bad this car sat outside all this time.

I know I could really clean this thing up, and drive / sell it. But what could I get... $1000-1200, then I would have to start the parts hunt again. So, on with the plan. Like you said.. win-win.

As said, save the mounts for someone looking to put a Pontiac V8 in on a G body. The 4.3 Pontiac is a small bore, fuel economy motor like the Olds 260 and Chevy 267 V8. Also the TH350 is probably a TH250, look for the stud of doom near the cooler lines, not nearly as desirable. I fried one the first time hammering on my 403.

Both of these are running engines, and driving cars. Not for long.... I will continue to source parts over this Winter season, but as soon as the time changes, and the warmer weather comes, it's on... These engines come out, and the real work begins. Body work and paint, first. Suspension and tires / wheels, second. Engine and transmission swap ( the most expensive ), third. Interior finishes everything off, fourth. *** Both of these engines, and transmissions are for sale ***
