I decided to call it a day early. All I got done was a bunch of cleaning but before I left I pulled all the plugs and put PB blaster down all the cylinders. I figured as long as it's been sitting I just don't want any problems. All the plugs still look brand new except the second one back on the driver's side it had a little surface rust around the electrode. Tomorrow morning I'm going to bar it over easy. Then I need to find out why the rear wheels keep locking up when I roll it backwards. I think someone tried to set the parking brake when it was up in Oldbridge and the cables are hanging up. Until then I'm going to take a much needed shower and eat something

I've been making deals again. Looks like I got myself a complete Chrysler 8 and 3/4 A-body rear with 3:23 gears open but it's the casting I was told to look for. Now I should have everything to stuff that thing in there. Got some other parts while I was there but not for this thread. The rear is being delivered to the building next weekend.

Bad news. I didn't get back to this car in time and the 455 is seized.

Only 1 plug has rust on it the rest look good.

I'm waiting for a guy to drop off a rear and look at a motor then I'm going to the store and buying 2 gallons of PB blaster to dump down the carb and in the cylinders. If that doesn't work I'm going back to the old motor that eats push rods

I went out to the building today. The PB blaster didn't work but I'm not sweating it. I've got a better plan anyway when I was building this car years ago there's a few things I didn't do to my liking and this is my chance to fix them. I'll elaborate later but for now I hung another light and put the car in it's bay where it will be finished. Tomorrow morning I'm tearing onto it

With all that's going on here I got out there late and left early but I did brake down the nose to pull the motor and make some firewall modifications. In the 2 hours or so I was there I did this.

I don't know when I'll be back there again because the landlord was talking about a shut down but I can always organiz parts for it at home to get ready for the next thrash. Until then she's tucked into bed

Until then I'm studying Q

It looks like work will be slowing down over the next few weeks and if I get time I'll head to the building during the week but I'm currently doing 3 cars and have a Chevy express outside I need to change the frame in so I don't think it will happen this week. I am making a plan and trying to finds some parts that I'm still missing but only if I can find them cheap because that's my style lol I want to do the Blazer brakes and tube control arms but I need to finds a set of axels for a Mopar A body but I want them in the larger 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern I don't think I can afford custom ones with a GM bolt pattern. If I can find one I want a Mopar 8 3/4 pig with a sure grip and 3:73s in a 742 case if possible but beggars can't be choosers I do have an open 741 3:23 but I'd hate to do that. I've got time though I'm going to start at the front and work my way back doing everything but paint. I will be edging some parts thought.

Well the landlord doesn't want us out at the building until the quarantines are over I think he's worried because I work in Lakewood I can't say I blame him I'm worried to. My plan is to work from front to back on the car until all the mechanical things are what I wanted then I'll turn it around and start fixing the roof and quarters. That said I ordered a new set of upper control arms for it last night and I'm on the hunt for spindles this week we'll see how that goes
