Update. So I’ve got the front brakes on. Master cylinder is showing up today. As for inline tube and their rear brake kit. They had a note on their web page that shipping times could take longer which I understand being in manufacturing myself. Apparently they build these kits to order and are taking 3 weeks or more to build. I’ve expressed my dissatisfaction with them as there is no notation that these kits are BTO. So rear brakes will be a few weeks out. I will just bleed the fronts and run the stock master till everything else shows up.

I second your frustration with Inline Tube. I ordered a stainless brake line kit, disc/disc master, disc/disc proportioning valve, stainless braided line kit, and the same 7.5" rear disc kit with parking brake you did the last week in March. I received all the items except the rear disc kit very quickly. The stainless hose kit was supposed to come with 2x 3/8" to -3AN for the front wheels, and 1x 7/16" to -3AN for the rear hose that connects to the rear end. The kit had 3x 3/8" fittings. I called and emailed numerous times requesting the right fitting and updates on the disc kit with no response until I finally stayed on the phone and cancelled my disc kit the last week in April. I ordered the other fitting I needed from Amazon.

I ordered the non-parking brake kit from Speedway Motors Monday last week. It arrived on Thursday and was on the car Saturday.

I’ve had great luck with their products over the years. Got an email yesterday saying parts arrived in the warehouse and should ship out tomorrow! Once I have a tracking number showing the parts have physically left I’ll pull the rear and get it ready

It is official, I am promising to never order from Inline tube ever again. Got the notice yesterday that the rear disc brake kit shipped out, very excited. But I noticed something funny in the shipping invoice they sent over, it only showed them shipping the kit and not everything else I ordered. I also ordered the parking brake cable connector and a master cylinder bleeder kit, both of which have been showing in stock for the past five weeks. I have seen them place other items out of stock on the website so I know they manage it. Rep just told me they will ship separately and have been in stock and no known date. Blows my mind that they would ship these items separate and if that was their plan why did they not ship these sooner. Fingers crossed the kit I receive has all of its parts and no defects.

On the bright side the tracking is showing a delivery of Monday and it is officially in transit. Guess it is time to pull the rear and get it stripped and ready.

check your order date, compare it to the invoice date......... it wouldn't happen to be just under 30 days would it?

Took 20 days to ship the disc brakes after order. No clue when they would ship the rest, I had them cancel the remaining items as Amazon has them in stock with next day delivery.

yep.....after 30 days they are required to either cancel the order or let you know the issue and see if you want to continue to wait...."we're hearing it might come in in just a few more days!" ...........BS!......that game right there is how Dell Computers got their ess in a sling in the late 90's because computers were in such demand it was taking forever to ship. in Dell's case, they were cancelling the order just under 30 days and then re-issuing it to start the clock over. they got in BIG trouble for that!..... and now you know the rest of the story....

And leave the stock prop valve. My son originally had that exact rear setup and Blazer fronts with '80 Riviera disc/disc master cylinder. He started out with a prop valve from Inline tube and ended up swapping the stock prop valve back on. When he went to C6 brakes up front, the aftermarket prop valve did work better.

The left parking brake cable was too short. I contacted Inline tube and the sent me one that was 1-2" longer.
I think I may have the same issue with the driver side cable. The sheath on it is super tight and when I adjust the passenger side i have to have the adjuster nuts all the way screwed on and I can’t seem to get the passenger side to engage at all

So I hate in-line tube. Not only do I have issues with my parking brake cables but they didn’t sent me a clip for the passenger cable to mount to the frame or nuts for the adjuster. I also inquired as to why it did not come with any form of instructions and they sent me an instruction manual for a speedway kit. I guess I should have just made a lot myself. Oh well done ranting, will have to wait another week to get this car back on the road

where have I heard this story before? your adjuster nuts are screwed all the way on (probably pretty tight) and you just can't get the passenger to engage o_O
