I once owned a 71 Cutlass. It was nothing like the car in this video though. If someone asked me what my dream car was, this would be top of the list

Even when fully stock, the 70s cars had unique style and class.

I can see the strong lines in the 1971 Cutlass that you like. Each GM division had its own identity that slowly evolved over the decade. My car is a 1969 Beaumont convertible, similar to a Chevelle, but with sharper angles. They are all beauties.

You don't see many of those around.

Canadian car, eh? According to a letter from GM Canada, only 491 convertibles were manufactured that year.

I will post some pictures after I get down to the garage location. It was partially restored in 1991 with mechanicals and chroming. It is a Pontiac Beaumont with Chevy 307 engine and powerglide transmission. A cruiser, not a racer. It is almost ready for the road.

I usually don't like the Supreme bodies but this one is very nice. I let my G body go, so I can focus all my money on one hobby car, my 70 Cutlass S. The late 60's early 70's cars from the big 3 were the pinnacle in style and performance till really the last 10 or so years when modern motors really upped their factory HP. Modern styling is different story🤮.

Yeah, Canadian built for Canada Pontiac's like the Beaumont were factory sbc cars, going way back to the 50's. My Ex BIL had a 69 Beaumont with a factory sbc 350, a cool car.
