Looks like it is coming along very nicely, glad the theft didn't deter you
Oh, I've already been semi-daily driving it for the past yearIt should be a ripper and great fun.
Get it running and on the road - upgrade/finish after you work the bugs out.
I haven't had them in long enough to tell but they seem pretty comfortable so far. They are a bit stiffI am curious what you think about the comfort level of the Procar Elites, someone mentioned they were too hard and uncomfortable on long drives.
If you get an opportunity, I'm betting this group wouldn't mind seeing the result.I've been driving it around quite a bit so here's what I've got to say about the seats. They are a bit stiff but they aren't Cadillac seats so it's not a complaint. Mounted at the lowest setting, they were giving my a front wedgie when I used the brakes so I raised the front to the highest setting and they're perfect now. Also, I'm 5'11 190lbs and these seats fit me perfect. There's no wiggle room between the bolsters. Although, if you're much bigger than me, I think there's an XL version. The material the covers are made out of is higher quality than I expected. I got the vinal covers and the quality is just under the factory leather seats in my 23 Silverado. (yes, I know they aren't real leather).
The only real issue I had with the seats is there's no seatbelt retainer. I fixed that buy buying some cheap ones for a Mustang that mount to the headrest shafts. I had to drill a couple holes in the retainer to make them fit but they aren't visible.
I also installed the B&M shifter housing. Unfortunately, the boot began crumbling the second i touched it so I'll have on custom made later
