Glad you got the reference. And the gun rack/ louvres is a classic combo, but both get in the way of a beer window (slider).

Not sure. I did chat up the owner for a while. He said it was painted recently, been in the family since new. My mom's first new car was a two-door 74 Maverick i6 four-speed this color. She said she got a lot of speeding tickets but got out of them. Never quite sure if I loved the Maverick styling but, not the worst looking car even this four-door Mercury.
