I am cutting the roof off the 86 and grafting it on the farthest beige car, not selling it. Don't know how I messed that up. Also that is a white 2+2, it is originally silver, someone did a repaint. It is rotten.

I have an 86 that I am selling the TTop roof off it. it has the 305 with overdrive, would sell the whole car minus the roof in the spring. I am 1.25hrs north of Kitchener. Its the two tone blue one you see in the pic.

I will never drag it, just looking for something a little fun. I was going to measure it to see how far off it was from a G Body axle, but from the sounds of it it is pretty different.
I would have to recheck, but I did not remember seeing one. The car is going for scrap, so if you need anything let me know. I am 2hrs north of London.
I pulled the 472 from my 1974 Cadillac Calais today. I noticed the heavy *ss driveshaft, and the rear end looks fairly beefy. It is not a POSI, but I wonder if the rear end would hold up in the 84 grand prix better than a stock one, or the 7.5 posi rear end I have out of the 2+2.

also on the regular GPs the SPID was a label stuck on the trunklid. In a 2+2, it was in a plastic pouch velcroed on to the trunklid. I would see if the label VIN matches the cars VIN. If it does, then I think you might have something, especially if that label shows Y97
It appears to have all the correct paint around the drivers side window, the black trim, and the correct interior. There is simply too much stuff done to it not to be original. I am suspecting that at one point someone took out the rear window. Either custom order, or due to an accident at...
