He started cleaning it up and got the Bravada bumper installed. Most of his Belltech kit got delivered but they forgot the rear springs. Baby steps. More time and money wasted on the scabby tractor. I pulled the passenger seat to lube the tracks and adjust the locks. The console was only...

T-400 draws 500rpm from Chevy 350 in Drive

Sounds like that converter is a little tight. Have you done a stall test yet to see where it flashes?

Here's a bit of a boomerang story. This was originally purchased in 1982 by a high-school friend of my dad, who was later my employer, and years later -- my uncle. Weird stuff happens in small towns when octogenarian widows/widowers remarry. It was sold around 1996 to my brother's best...

The dash is perfect. So far, the only interior and/or functional defects are as follows: FM band doesn't work. Fuel gauge doesn't work (mostly). Headliner is loose along the windshield. The center console is loose and needs to be snagged down. The passenger door window switch won't snap...

Hundred mile shakedown ride on the blue bike. Ebay XT225 engine is A-OK. Extended swingarm has noticeable differences, positive and negative. New Bradley rear shock with the RaceTech emulators is great! Not quite motocross suspension, but waaay better than stock TW. Last photo...

Hahah, has to be a typo

It's actually not a bad looking car. Not how I'd do it, but doesn't look like junk either. My guess is that it actually  is a typo and the seller thinks it's a $30,000 car. I don't think the market has gotten there just yet.

Cool. Hope the seller can afford spell check after the sale.

Restoration work on the new/old work Venza continues. I replaced the seeping rear axle seals. Unfortunately, it looks like I'm probably going to be putting a transmission in this thing at some point. It's developing a torque converter shudder and does a weird 4-5 flare when cresting hills...

It's a niche market but they seem to bring decent money. He bought it pretty right.

Another side project... My dad just bought this trike from a buddy that quit riding. I guess that's something that happens when you reach a certain age. The plan is to spiff it up and flip it in the late spring, early summer. It's in pretty decent shape. The rocker boxes seep and the LS...

I did a hundred mile shakedown run on the white bike to see how the fresh top-end worked out. It was all asphalt, so just easy 50-60mph twist two-lane. Seems to run just fine -- no smoke or odd noises. Runs just like an XT225 with fat tires under it. I'm working for the next 2 weeks straight...
