What did you do to your non-G body project today? [2023]

I walked around my projects cleaning up leaves from last fall and wondered how much the neighbors hate me.

    Cheap seat covers.

Bought a set of bucket seats on Friday, mostly bought them for the seat tracks, but I figured I'd throw them in instead of my split bench for now. But they're Blue, and my interior isn't blue, it's a weird combination of maroon burgundy and spray painted black. Lol Anybody have any...

REGAL Converting 83 non ac to 84+ ac

Okay. The car at the junkyard is mostly stripped, I should be able to see what's going on, when I look at it. Just didn't know if both things would fit in the same space. Lol

REGAL Converting 83 non ac to 84+ ac

So is the frame just a different shape inside the dash? It's not a separate pod like that cluster is.

REGAL Converting 83 non ac to 84+ ac

Headed to the junkyard tomorrow I think, gonna see if I can grab an 85 dash and all the harnesses. I like the look of the 84+ dash better. And want the larger radio hole. I'll need to modify the engine wiring harness anyway to use the s10 serpentine setup. With the alternator on the driver side...

    best coil spring compressing tool

I wish I would have known that was available when I owned my 1978 chevette. Would have made life so much easier. On my Regal I just unbolted the lower arms from the frame, switched the springs out and jacked them back into place with a floor jack. Didn't bother with a compressor at all.

How about the tail light harness or interior lighting, did that change too? I don't mind changing stuff up front so much. But I don't want to strip the entire car. Lol

REGAL Converting 83 non ac to 84+ ac

Sounds like more of a pain in the *ss than I was thinking. I wonder how many wiring harnesses I can zip tie to the inside of the dash at the junkyard before they realize something's up.

REGAL Converting 83 non ac to 84+ ac

Yes, I does. Gonna grab everything from the three parts cars in the junkyard that I can possibly get my hands on. Mine was stripped down to basically a shell in 2021 so I'm not really afraid of making changes, lol. My steering column was originally gray and I think from an 84+ grand national...

REGAL Converting 83 non ac to 84+ ac

Hope this isn't posted in the wrong section. I have an 83 regal v8 T5 swapped non ac... I'm. Thinking of converting to an 84+ dash with ac. I know I need to swap the dash and all the ducting, also the heater box. just wondering how much wiring I need to swap. Will I need to switch the under...

What did you do to your non-G body project today? [2021]

Not today, but I haven't been on here in a while. And it actually to two days. My wife has a new Bronco on order (2 door, hard top, 7speed manual only options are the toe package and rear locker) She sold her Focus to her sister for her kids to drive and bought a rust free 2wd 1999 Jeep...

    save New England dragway Petition..

Would be a shitty place for condos. With the speedway and the Sig range right next door. The back up alarms on the trucks coming in and out of the water place are annoying as hell too. And who would want to live right next door to the big waste recycling facility with all the truck traffic...

Funny, people see my Buick all the time, but it's never me driving it. Always my wife. Lol

How come I've still never seen this car in person? Figured with where you work and how much time I spend on the road we'd cross paths eventually. Lol.
