Does someone have a rear sway bar handy that they can measure the overall width for me at the two sets of mounting holes? I am temporarily without a Gbody, so I cant do it myself, but I am thinking I can source a sway bar from one that I can use on another project, I just need to confirm...
I took a complete electronic cruise assembly out of an early 90s chev truck/suburban and mounted it on the passenger fenderwell. It is electronic, self contained in one unit, and required only a few wires to hook up. The cruise control/ turn signal stalk off of that vintage truck fits as well...
I used the stock linkage on my Malibu wagon when i put in my 700R4. It has to be adjusted just perfect in order to operate the transmission, but once I got mine adjusted properly it has been that way for years now. As far as the indicator on the dash I installed one out of a Monte SS and it...
I installed a pickup and pump out of a c1500 pickup into my wagons tank when I did my EFI install. It required a bit of bending to fit. Surprisingly I have had no pickup issues in spite of having no baffling in the tank. I can run it damn near dry and it has no problems at all. Go figure.

Thanks

This thread is like watching the Anna Nicole show. I keep coming back to look at it....but I cant figure out why? I guess I just love a good train wreck.

I dont know about untouchable, but I had an 82 El Camino that I put over 50K miles on as a daily driver. It had basically a stock Qjet equipped 350 smog motor in it with a B&M forced induction on top of it. It got better mileage with the B&M on it than it did without it, idled and drove like a...
Tires, Tires, Tires. Anything else you can do is meaningless if you dont have good sticky tires on the beast. After you have them, then worry about anything else.
