Anybody ever use Kbs coating products? Application process is similar to por, but claims to have moderate UV protection. Less expensive too. Another option for the OP.

Thanks carlola. welding would be involved so definitely bare metal. So por is resistant to its own prep chemicals? My concern was in cutting it in to the area and that the prep chemicals might strip the surrounding finish.

Guy, just so we all are on the same page the trutrac is Ford's limited slip differential correct, and we are taking about the same part? What kind of power have you been putting down through the stock rear end? I haven't heard much negative things about the trutrac beyond the usual limitations...

I'm sure you are referring to the Gleason "Torsen" differential. I'm not finding to much on them either. Pitstopusa.com are the only ones I found with a quick search that might have some in stock. If I ever get the funds to swap out my trutrac, my money will be on the Wavetrac through Moser.

Never mind I learned those are for steel shocks only.

Bump, to hear from the guys with high daily driver mileage on the steel bushings. ALL bushings wear how many miles before you had to change them out.
