    POR 15

Anybody ever use Kbs coating products? Application process is similar to por, but claims to have moderate UV protection. Less expensive too. Another option for the OP.

    POR 15

Thanks carlola. welding would be involved so definitely bare metal. So por is resistant to its own prep chemicals? My concern was in cutting it in to the area and that the prep chemicals might strip the surrounding finish.

    POR 15

A question for you guys with experience with por 15. How well does it touch up? While I have the frame out I'm going to be attempting some notching, trimming, and bracing. Most of it can get done before I coat it and get the body, and motor back in it, but there are a couple areas that I want...

Need Ford 9 Inch Posi Unit Input- Which one to buy??

Guy, just so we all are on the same page the trutrac is Ford's limited slip differential correct, and we are taking about the same part? What kind of power have you been putting down through the stock rear end? I haven't heard much negative things about the trutrac beyond the usual limitations...

Need Ford 9 Inch Posi Unit Input- Which one to buy??

I'm sure you are referring to the Gleason "Torsen" differential. I'm not finding to much on them either. Pitstopusa.com are the only ones I found with a quick search that might have some in stock. If I ever get the funds to swap out my trutrac, my money will be on the Wavetrac through Moser.

    Front suspension help

Thanks for the input guys. #3 is definitely an attractive option. Especially sinse the cost matches a quality lowering spring and shock combo and i need bith. 307Regal, I hope you are not messing up your new shocks pushing on the car like that. You have to make engine noises while doing it or...

    Front suspension help

I have a 1982 Buick Regal g body. The plans for the car. Mild cammed LS 6.0 iron block, daily driver I hope to be around 450rwhp. To be honest other than a couple runs during the Honeymoon period with the car, it will hardly see track time street or drag. (unless the bug bites).Still I want it...

    Speedway Upper Control Arms

Since UB Machine product has been mentioned I'll include some info on those, and how there p/n system works. The p/n most resembling arms like speedway, and/or gbodyparts arms is 14-0809-6R as best I can tell(please correct me if I'm wrong) I'll break it down: 14= the metric/g body ball joint...

    Speedway Upper Control Arms

Ok so the speedway arms have liners. I guess cause I've been looking mostly at the UB Machine set with steel bushings I thought they all did. I just found out today that UB offers Teflon liners. What's your opinion on Teflon vs non-Teflon? Am I understanding you right that you were getting...

    Budget A-Arms?

How are/did your UB Machine arms hold up? Did they get much street use, did you get the steel or Teflon bushings?

    Speedway Upper Control Arms

Bump, to hear from the guys with high daily driver mileage on the steel bushings. ALL bushings wear how many miles before you had to change them out.
