Currently, the car I'm looking to put the engine is sitting. It sat for years on a farm and I finally have it and want to breath life into it. It's current engine (307) is locked up. I want to make it into a daily. I'm torn between doing a somewhat restore and keeping it Olds or Resto-modding it.

Ironically, I'm currently in talks on possibly buying a 455 Olds. I ran across it on facebook. We're currently negotiating price. What all would be different on a 455 swap? I've had no luck on finding any Olds 350 or 403. I'm basically on the line between the 455 Olds if we can agree or a LQ4.

Would you mind giving me the budget build video links? I've had no luck in finding a decent one. Most videos I come across are like one off videos around 5 minutes long and super vague.

I'm going to try and pull a LQ4 from a '99-'04 truck most likely since they're plentiful around my area.

Did you like the look? I honestly figured there would be pics on google with Monte's having them. I randomly came across it when looking at hoods and it caught me off guard because I've never seen any Gbody with one. My curiosity peaked when I couldn't find no pics online of it on a Gbody.

I had to re-read the "Fits 81-87 Oldsmobile Cutlass" on the site a few times. I've spent like two hours on google trying to track down any photo of it actually on a Gbody.

I am located in eastern Kentucky. I never stated where I was located and apologize. I appreciate the advice and the carb offer. I just want to get the car running for now and don't plan on using the 307 for anything other than daily driving.
