Damn boss this did the trick thanks alot for your help at the time it was a lose solenoid that was connected to the starter tightened up started fine but just a couple days ago i replace the starter and battery and had that same issue already got it done cause this old post

Okay, on my old starter I would turn key it would just click, got a new one had it tested before I installed it, still no click, found out I had a bad battery, got a new one still no click, everything electrical works perfectly fine. People are telling me a fusable link, or maybe my ignition...

Worst case scenario but i checked this morning theres no clicking at all

So follow the positive cable on the battery, then unhook the 2 wires near the starter, next move?

None whatsoever

When I turn the key over it clicks once then doesnt click at all

Just joined the community I have ben having a problem with my 1987 cutlass, it wont start already checked the battery, connectors are fine, and starter looks fine. The only thing it could be is the fusible link, I would appreciate help with where the fuse is located and the steps. thanks alot...
