What Did You Do To Your G-Body Today? [2023]

Got a couple hours out in the garage this morning and another this evening. I serviced my JD LT133 rider for the season and prepped and painted the rear speaker deck and speaker grills. The SEM paint sprayed nicely, covered well and matched perfectly. The carpeted speaker deck cover was slightly...

CUTLASS Another bright idea, '87 Olds 442 wheels on my '80?

Did any of the '78-'88 Cutlass's come with painted 15" SSIII wheels? I see sets of 15" SSIII's from mid 70's Colonnade Cutlass's come up for sale from time to time but not sure if they'd work on the 78-88 models.

CUTLASS Another bright idea, '87 Olds 442 wheels on my '80?

I found a set of '87 Olds 442 15" wheels and center caps for sale not too far away for $500. The rims have some surface rust and faded gold insets in the spokes, but look to be in pretty good shape, the centers as well. Is the asking price out of line or decent or? My idea is to go 15"...

    WTF Hot Rod Magazine?

Been a subscriber to HR since 1984, I’m dropping it when it expires. Got my first quarterly issue in a few weeks ago and while a cool retro Pro Street issue with cars I remember very well, it didn’t change my mind. Only car magazine left that I get will be Hemming’s Muscle Car.

What Did You Do To Your G-Body Today? [2023]

Yesterday I put the car out in the driveway, was close to 60 degrees and sunny out. I installed the restored headliner, dome light (hoping it will be reproduced at some point, it's pitted but shined up alright for now) and sun visors. The passenger side now has the lighted vanity rather than the...

What did you buy for your G-body today? [2024]

Took a road trip after work and picked up a good restorable wheel for the ‘80. Not an easy one to find, and mostly very expensive, so I’ve found. The medallion on the horn button is one I had on the shelf, it came with the Toronado medallion. It will be going to the upholstery shop for a new...

    BUILD THREAD “The Juggernaut”

The car looks awesome, Donovan! The Euro headlights sure change up the look even with the OEM waterfall grills. Looking forward to seeing the bumper and filler installed to wrap up the nose. Are you planning on adding a pair of driving lights into the bumper or just going with the headlights...

What did you buy for your G-body today? [2024]

I’ve bought a few parts from that gentleman before, he isn’t too far away from me. The moldings on the 4 doors are different I believe.
