i would go back and recheck the springs on your break shoes just to be sure there installed the right way

if your using new motor mounts the block might need some tough love getting into place, thats how mine was when i did the v6 to sbc swap.

if he really wants a cam i would go with an rv cam just give it a lil more bang for the buck,or if he wants that big cam sound i would go with a thumper cam they sound like a big cam but u still get great street manners
