Welcome. working on these beautiful cars is fun. if you are in need of a motor and transmission with less than 25,000 miles on it you can have the one I pulled out of my '81. its just taking up space in my shop, I am not that far away just come and get it. rancher.

dyno'd my 81 cutlass a couple of days ago, got 582whp with pump gas and 15 lbs of boost, a real good day.

I decided on built up turbo 400 with special torque converter to handle 700+hp. be on the road soon I hope, rancher.

Hope to get the computer programed tomorrow and onto the dyno soon. tying up loose ends right now. shooting for 700hp at the crank. will post the dyno printout when done.

Have been busy installing the ls , working on the turbo now, rancher.

In the winter i drive my '94 f150 4wd with only a little rust (n. Minnesota winters are brutal). Summers its my '57 ranchero, 302, aod, its a hot rod not a restoration and i drive it every day. i am looking to sell it as soon as i finish with my '81 cutlass supreme, hopefully this winter.

thanks, I have heard that, I have the motor and transmission from a Silverado now and have been looking around for the 80 but have not found anything local (rural northern Minnesota). I know that there are a lot of sellers online but I haven't seen prices I like. I will have to think this over. What...

this winter I will swap out the motor and transmission with a ls 5.3 and 4l60e with turbo. lots of questions about suspension. I will check in every day to see what similar builders are doing.
