So from all the information I've gotten from you guys I have foun out that in 1981 Chevrolet started to use the lock up converter. What all do I need to do to swap the V6 to the V8?

Possibly flat cam or bad fuel pump? IDK

Believe it or not I keep the factory bench. In most cases they are lighter than racing buckets. The reason why is the brackets instead of 4 you have 2 and thats were most of your comes from. Hey I may be wrong, but it makes sense to me. Thanks for reading, AJ

Well even if the Malibu has the turbo 200 run it till it blows. Do the same with the 7.5 rearend! Thanks to all you who replyed your information was very helpful
