So from all the information I've gotten from you guys I have foun out that in 1981 Chevrolet started to use the lock up converter. What all do I need to do to swap the V6 to the V8?

Believe it or not I keep the factory bench. In most cases they are lighter than racing buckets. The reason why is the brackets instead of 4 you have 2 and thats were most of your comes from. Hey I may be wrong, but it makes sense to me.

So I found out I have a 350C.....What my questions is will my 1974 350 work with this transmission? If so will I be able to put in a different aftermarket torque converter.

Well even if the Malibu has the turbo 200 run it till it blows. Do the same with the 7.5 rearend!
