Trans leaking again, seemingly out of the speedo cable housing. While under there i noticed there were no bolts holding the mount to the transmission amymore, only the xmember. Finagled some in there with lock washers, threads were kinda trashed... we'll see.
Stripped the "gold" that was over the chrome on the 24s and put them back on. Tightened up trans pan and stopped a little leak. Been busy getting Silverado back to being a daily again, after sitting for almost half a year.

I've had Auburn, and stock G80 gov-lock, go from nice even stripes to one wheel peel. Very inopportune when it happens in the middle of what should have been an epic burnout.
Yes it's definitely some kind of lsd. I was surprised by the rust also as I have been driving the car regularly for the last year. Fluid was black and needed the change. I'm just wondering what kind of locker it is as I'm not familiar with the different types. I know it aint the g80 gov lock.
