Ive been looking to purchase a GN rear for my 85 Monte ss. Ive read most came with posi and decent gears but run 800-900 bucks if you can find one. Should I just put the 3:73 and carrier in the stock rear? Ive never done a gear or carrier change before...

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Im doing body work right now and just picked up a set of Weld wheels for it. In the next couple years Id like to have it painted red again with a cowl hood and looking at big block crate engines.
