Might be possible to compair to the Buick/Rover 215 ci/3,5L V8 pistons as the both have the same bore size (3.5"/88.9mm). There should be one other detail that seems like it get over looked is the way the wheel cylinders mount since the G one uses the god awful retaining rings like the 7.5" rears.

It'll be cars built from Jan '72 that started using the 8.5" to replace the Chevy & BOP 10 bolts. My '72 Monte was a late year car that had it.

Years ago I bought a roll of 16 GA fusible link at NAPA that I use to replace them. Dorman also had ready to links with a ring & butt terminals already crimped on.

I was going to post about that stuff. Used to sell a ton of that stuff to all the independent shops.
