Yes, as long as it can receive FM. I have one that I move from vehicle to vehicle, so I can leave my radios stock. They work quite well, and they even sell this type of device at Walmart now.

If it really works on 87.5, that would be excellent. I have battery cut-off's on my cars and when I turn the batteries on, the presets are all lost and the radio defaults to 87.5.

Which brings up a good point- it should be set to the weakest signal/station/frequency in your area to avoid interference for best operation.

Yeah, you picked basically the WORST car to pull a radio from (2nd only to LHs). the problem with cassette adapters is the frequency response (or lackthereof) with digital media. Compressed music is bad enough as it is.
I realized that about halfway through pulling out the dash face/trim. WHY. I was just scouting for any plug n play tape deck, and just happened upon it. For $23, I think the labor (while stupendously ludicrous) was worth it in the end. It took even longer with "junkyard etiquette", aka not ripping and tearin everything up.

Yep, just pair your device to it, and it broadcasts to your radio tuner on the selected station. You must be too young to remember CD changers....:p

I remember them quite well.. lol.. i will look into getting that, does it matter whether or not the actual radio station works? Because i took the antenna off and covered the hole

My wifes car has a power antenna that is snapped off at the base, and it works perfectly on that. Also, one of those hidden antenna boxes could get you decent FM reception if you actually have radio stations worth listening to around.
