Hello and I have a 1985 Monte Carlo and have had since 2003 buying it from an ex neighbor that moved away. I always was over checking it out sitting in his garage with no engine in it and finally did give me an offer to buy it from him.I had a 350 in it that I built in it first. Then a crate 383 stroker engine that will be coming out. Plans are to build a LQ4 6.0 I have sitting around for it to put in it. Know it ran good before it was pulled out of a wrecked GMC 2500 pickup

I do and going to have a transmission built for the power. Having a transmission repair shop owner I know do this that knows what he is doing
Transmissions are something that can get overlooked. They need to be built to handle the power of what is in front of them. The driveshaft and rear end also needs to handle the power as well.
Have an upgraded 12 bolt rear end ready to go
