Hi I had a question on doing a g body ls swap. I have a possible ls engine to buy but it’s missing the accessories. What ls accessories fit best for the g body? High, mid, or low? I’ve also noticed there’s different kinds of accessories like for a trucks, f body’s or corvettes.

Truck accessories clear, so that would be your most economical option. Truck engines are so common and so cheap these days that you just as well save yourself the headache and buy a complete donor with wiring, ecm, and accessories.

Oh okay thank you. The engine I’m looking at right now is built and pretty good deal but i do need to buy the accessories and brackets . I was looking at some kits online but there’s high, mid, and low mounts so I’m not sure which one would fit. Also would I be able to use the original LS wiring and ecm to work on the regal?

Most economical would be to buy a complete set of brackets/accessories/bolts off of a junk engine.

If you have an unlimited budget and/or you want an aesthetic looking setup, buy an aftermarket setup and new accessories. "Mid" setup sounds about right but you would have to verify with the manufacturers dimensions.

The harness can be reworked....but you might want a new harness if going with aftermarket brackets/accessories. Your ecm can be reflashed.
