You mentioned that you replaced them 2yrs ago and all you did was repacked the bearings and the noise went away for a short bit.
Did you happen to thoroughly wipe away all the grease to inspect for abnormal wear on the bearings and race itself first... the quality, depending on brand might be questionable.

I did check for abnormalities although briefly. I dont remember brand of bearings but yes they are probably cheap ones.
Tomken used to be one of the best. But it’s been a while since I’ve had to buy them.
Thanks, Ive chased other noises that were caused by cheap parts, brake pads come to mind. Big waste of time. Can’t remember what brand wheel bearings I went with. Guess I’ll give the Timkens a try.
