How do I adjust the hinges to push the front of the door out a little from the body?

At first blush it looks to me like the fender needs to be pulled in a bit at the back instead of the door coming out, which fender alignments are done mostly be adding/removing shims. Be VERY careful doing this sort of work. One wrong move and boom, everything is out of whack. Especially if you're jacking around with the door itself. That's done by loosening the door hinge bolts on the door itself, and once that's done, the captured nuts inside the door allows some vertical and horizontal movement of the door. That can get you chasing your tail real quick if you screw up those hinge locations.

What does the rear of the door look like? If the seams are straight and even with the body back there, then check the rocker to bottom of the door clearances to ensure it's straight and even.

what was done to the car ? doors unbolted ? fenders unbolted ? i really need to know that !!! but anyhow it looks like the bottom has to go in loosen the hinge to door bolts and pull the bottom of the door but first put some tape by the hinge so you know if it moved if it;s too tight after that then the top has to come out .it;s not easy to do with the fenders on

Only perform body panel adjustments on a flat driveway with all four wheels on the ground.

As alluded to above car on level ground on its wheels preferably fully built . Aligning doors begins at the rear of the door as noted …should align with the quarter panel at the back top and bottom with a gap as specified in the body service manual. Then the door should be checked for alignment to the rocker at the front and adjusted if required. Then the fenders go on and are aligned to the doors. This is the case on pretty much every car built since the 1930s right up to today

Departing from this process will leave you chasing your tail and very aggravated
