BUILD THREAD '78 Cutlass Supreme Lichen Edition

Are you going with a floor shift and factory console? If so GBodyParts has the two gauge cluster that fits it nicely. I put one in my ‘80. I have the sweep speedo as well and actually still like it. Back when I was a kid I could have taken a dozen of the Ralley clusters out of the wrecking yard but never felt the need, but boy I wish I had all of them now for re-sale. lol. These cars were a dime a dozen back then, not that way anymore.

Your car is coming along nicely, that roof repair looks fantastic!

Also, if you need a place for the tachometer, I mounted mine to the right of the column under the gauges cluster surround. There is one fastener right there that I used to mount it. Just a suggestion…

I was asking Jesse at affordable fuel injection about his two barrel TBI kit that apparently is derived from a late model S10 (4.3?).

Here is what he said. At this moment I don't understand because I've never done an engine rebuild or a cam swap:

"
What we can do, We can calibrate for a 350ci. The 350ci can have a cam shaft that MUST NOT go over Dur @ .050 of 204/208, Must not exceed Lift of .470/.470, and moust not have a lobe seperation below 112. If these specs are exceeded you will need a unit with a wide band o2 sensor and you will be dialing in the tune.

We can operate a 200r4 tcc but we cannot program a rev limiter.

"

I have the factory cams spec. Time to compare.
