It’s definitely a shame all this would be hidden.

Took advantage of the sales this weekend.
I had previously ordered a “PQY” FPR from Amazon. They are known for being quite decent for a the price in the Sloppy Mechanics world.
I decided I didn’t want to risk with the fuel system on this build.
So I pick up a Fluidworks FPR and a single in dual out filter.
Also picked some marker lights. My car had the reds in the front and the rears had some stick on reflectors. I’m usually not a fan of smoked lights but I think with the white paint and the trim being painted the smoked will blend in better.

Grabbed samples from the shop and dropped into the Auto Body Supply Shop during the morning's errand schedule. Was able to acquire the split body mounting plugs for the eggcrate filler that mounts it to the front bumper, as well as the flat sheet metal retainers that screw down onto the studs on the front bumper mounting plate to keep it in place during the assembly process. Once they get squashed during running the nuts down, they tend not to want to come off again and usually commit suicide if you try to pull them away. Cheaper by the dozen.

Scored a brand new alluminum radiator with fans nothing fancy but it was 50 bones! Off a lady from work that just moved into a new rental.. guess previous tenant forgot to take with them.

Taking a chance on a $100 eBay all aluminum radiator from Blackhorse Racing (Superfast, Speed Daddy, DNA are same):

Buy for G-Body, nothing, but did think about it. Did get some new shoes for the Corvette, but guess that don't count.

Did pick up a couple David Vizard books... Goes into a deep dive on setting up timing. Trying to decide if basic HEI for the 86 Cutlass or Progression Ignition upgrade.

Had that same setup fans could not keep up. Radiator and shroud are fine but fans are not as powerful as they claim. Fans would be on full blast while driving 50mph on highway. Stop at red light and temp just keeps going up. Ended up replacing the fan on driver side with a SPAL fan of same diameter and kept the other fan on the passenger side. Now with those two they come on and go back off even in traffic sitting at red lights. When they kick on you can watch the temp hand drop within seconds.

Good info to know! Thanks for the advice!
