Probably made about 5000 or so like that. Maybe more. Got a VIN? That would help narrow down the field. When and where was its last known sighting?

Unfortunately the vin is the best way to track it down. If there is any way to get it, old bmv paper work, I used the vin I had from the build sheet I didn’t realize I still had, paid 15 bucks to an online contractor and bada bing , if there’s no info at all and you really want to find it, there are private detective options available that will find it, about 3 to five hundred bucks usually will get it done.

The unfortunate thing is that 1984 was a banner year for Cutlass production. While it increases odds a 1984 Cutlass can be found that survived the last 41 years, it also expands your field. Unless you run into a miracle, there's not much hope without that VIN.

There was almost 25,000 Cutlass coupes made in 1984. Of course, GM had a huge U.S. market share then. In contrast, 40 years later, just less than 13,000 of the 2024 Camaros TOTAL were built of all versions.
