Rear sway bar

I actually ran the stock bar with these plates for a while to keep it off the housing 20241221_160037.jpgtill I had to $to get the aftermarket bar.

You can hear me ramble here if you want to know more about the CPP bar mentioned earlier

Looks like it does give some adjustability for sway bar position. Just want my sway bar out from under the rear end so I can use the jack plate on the 9 inch. Those clamps might be to small for my axle tubes

I can only speak to the umi set up but they offer it based on your tube size..price wise i can see the cpp vs the umi(i bought mine at their xmas sale in 2014,what i paid's lost on me) but after seeing the end link bracket set up that cpp offers, the Umi is way less convoluted.it attaches to the rear crossmember straight up with a single Heim joint and small bracket. The bar is shorter by design and I'm sure there's some kind of leverage/science with that but I'm not that guy.it has three settings and the directions are pretty straightforward for folks like us.20241222_085532.jpg

When I installed my QP 9" in my Regal my old sway bar was hitting the jack pad so instead of buying a different bar I notched the pad for clearance and then made a wood block with clearance for the bar to use on my floor jack.

I ended up using the axle mounting brackets from my HR Parts n Stuff rear sway bar as they were a lot more robust & beefier than the flimsy U bolt & bracket set up supplied by UMI
