Body/frame removal question

I'm in the process of taking the body off of the frame and most of the bolts snapped off even though I soaked them for several days with liquid wrench, my question is the number five body mounts that sit just in front of the axle I cannot seem to get those loose they're just spinning just curious if anyone cuts a hole on the top to access them if so does anyone have a picture I can't quite place where I should cut the hole

I'm not surprised I'm having a tough time my car was pretty Rusty to start

Body mount replacement often leads to your exact scenario. I had the same issue with my El Camino and did have to cut things and make new caged nuts. I can't say where exactly the best place to access the #5 would be, though I'm sure a search would turn up many threads as well as diagrams.

probably the best place to cut a hole would be from the topside as for the location to cut the best way is to drill a small hole underneath near the bad mount then from the topside measure from the hole you just drilled to the mount

#5 body mounts do not use bolts or lower bushings. Perhaps you mean the #4 locations?

Thank you so I went out and whacked the frame a couple times with a hammer and it popped the loose I would not have thought that the rust would have fused the frame to the body in that manner but she's up off the frame

Been there.

I tried to loosen mine and it basically fell apart around one of the mounts. All the bolts in front of the rear wheels were fine. Behind the rear wheels were trashed or frozen. I had to use a diamond cut off wheel on a dremel to cut the bolt heads off 2 to get the frame up.

My buddy suggested cutting the metal in a 3 sided box, bending the metal back and get the diamond shaped threaded plates out. I heated them up and wrenched the frozen bolts out. I chased them with a tap and we constructed new cages to "capture" the plates and reused them.

Use a hole saw to get to the backside of the bolts through the trunk
