82 Malibu Wagon in New Zealand

Cheers bud & she's going Blue, personal preference. Seen pics of quite a few & the colour suits them well 👌
Very glad to hear I am a blue man as well, what type of blue? Isn't that going to clash with your interior?

Hoping it wont clash to bad, glass is going to be dark tinted so that will take the eye off it from the outside at least. Were still going through what blue to use but it will be something close to this, bumpers painted body color & all chrome will be gloss black. Roof racks coming off to they're just a rust trap, should come up looking the part thats for sure....

Just done a 900 mile round trip in the old girl, she done real well. Couple of things to sort we found, had to drop the rear pipes off over the diff as they were hitting the diff bigtime with some weight in the back. Other's we're only getting two 3rds throttle, she still flew along ok at that though haha. Also found she must have something like a 3.36 or 3.55 diff as she's sitting on 2200rpm at 60mph, wont worry about that to much at this stage. Couple of future options i can do there being either a 3.08 diff or a turbo 700 trans to sort that, we pulled about 20mpg on the trip which wasn't bad but could be a lot better.
With the picture to that was taken on the beach were the worlds fastest indian was from - Oreti beach in Invercargill, back into work again tomorrow but will keep this updated as things progress. Super happy with her she's so comfortable on a trip 👌 😎
