BUILD THREAD 79 Malibu wagon not slow not fast

What did it end up making on the dyno?

The flame out of the exhaust on decel could be caused by a bunch of things, but most likely not an issue. Did the oil pressure come back when it cooled off or with an oil change?

Less than before, for a bunch of un known reasons.. didn't break 300..
my gues it's stupid rich and I have no afr on it. It was missing and felt like it was fighting itself so called it a day and it ran fine home.
I don't have a windage tray, or engine oil cooler.
Just out footing it around I can pull 20psi out of the oil.. normal pressure is a 50-60psi when warm, and idle is around 30-40. That's just short shifting at 3500-4000.. 6000 is redline for engine.

There is definitely a case to be made that I need a windage tray, and engine oil cooler . Will be pulling the engine apart, make sure there is no signs of oil starvation adding windage tray and put a bung in the oil pan for oil temp sensor

And I kissed a guardrail on the way home with . Which I'm still pissed at myself about. My annoyingly luck one-sided racing strip🙄🤦🏻‍♂️

On the topic of fuel tanks this came across my FB ads

Thought about the idea of taking the stock tank profile split it in 1/2 front to rear, extend it to the PS some 20-25" , move the fuel level and pickup towards the front center of the tank vs OEM is center center of the tank.. It would roughly double the tank capacity and increase useable capacity as well.

Figured I'd post it here to find it later lol there's a lot of other stuff that needs done first though
