Car is a 87 el camino with all the california emissions intact, was a 305v8 but was replaced at the Chevrolet dealership in the early 1990s with a factory 350

The oval black plug in pictures 3 and 4 are for the knock sensor. Its located low on the passenger side of the block under the exhaust manifold.

Reason I asked what carburetor is on it....

The blue connector is the TPS. Connects to the carb and is important if you are still running the computerized carburetor. If that's been switched out to a Holley or an Edelbrock or non-computerized Quadrajet it is no longer needed.

Sometimes the best thing is to know where you can go for answers. And one of the best places is RockAuto.com. Get used to cruising around there. Because you would have found your answer in seconds. Screenshots attached.

I dont think thats this connector. I went down today to check and I believe I have that sensor connected (see new picture) I think thats the connector you're talking about. this blue one is very short and doesn't even reach near the carb, it would have to be something near the passenger side wheel well.. im actually starting to think it doest go to anything needed, it may have been disconnected when I started. but if anyone has any more info id really appreciate it thanks

Looks like that connector is for the vacuum sensor which it's lying against. The vacuum sensor is very important.

That's a better pic. Yes that's not the one I mentioned, and I too questioned why so far away from carb. I was thinking someone taped it up that way. Evidently not.

The first picture of the connector that you showed is blue, and that is for the TPS. The second picture you show is completely different. It is still a 3 pin connector, but color is not important, it is how those pins are clocked.

The second picture you show is a different connector. On the pins you will also see that the clocking is different. This is called error proofing, which has a purpose, so that you don't accidentally plug the wrong connector into the incorrect item. This other connector you show is right next to the MAP and what you need to do is see if that will plug in there.

The large round single wire connector, as already discussed is for the knock sensor.

Oh ok I see, I was just confused because I didn't think the tps module could be by the fender . I put it all back together though and ya it wasn't there when I started so it's all good but now I just notice this empty bracket on the wheel well and unused blue connector hahaha
