I ended up mounting a license plate one, as fabricating something else to work seems to be a good amount of work and this is the easiest way.
I only test mounted it for now, it still needs to be wired up. Need to figure out how to run the wires outside the car, into the trunk. I believe there is a passage way in the left rear of the trunk.
Filling up this car is a total pain, unless I half squeeze the fuel nozzle at the gas station and allow it to fill slowly, otherwise fuel quickly backs up out of the fuel filler neck and spills outside the car. The tank doesn't seem to be vented at all.
