Yes, I ran them on the back of my Monte with slicks many years ago.

That picture was 1980 timeframe with a closed chamber 427 and a 4 speed. Ran low 11's back then at 4000 lbs. Never broke a wheel stud but twisted an axle probably every other race season.

thanks for your replys i had bought axles from quick performance and found out they have large studs holes i need a .685 knurl i found 1/2 studs and Conical lug nuts just wanted to make sure they will work on a steel wheel
