'78-'79 Malibu SBC oil pan/dipstick question.

Well, I checked my pile o' parts and found a couple of pans but no dipsticks or tubes. Sorry man, I really thought I had something for ya.

Finally was able to look through my storage unit this weekend as well as at home and sorry to report I did not find the dip stick tube. Found a few short dip sticks which are for the left side through the block set up but when compared to the dip stick on the 267 V8 in my 79 Monte Carlo (Which does have what you need) they are much shorter. I have a 406 going into this car in the future (Maybe next year???) but as of now I do not have the part in my horde. Sorry it took so long to get back to you.

No problem 79 USA 1. As nearly as I can figure, GM only used that setup for 2 model years (1978 & 1979), so I knew it would be a hard item to find. I appreciate your help.
