Agreed w/both the suspension & tire choice impacting the 'stance'.

If the suspension is stock height, there's not much need of 'measuring for shocks' because spec replacement parts will work. IMHO, the need to measure for shocks comes into play when you start lowering, raising, or altering the suspension pieces/parts.
