Paint Rust Question

Try an iron remover spray. I’ve used the Meguiars Professional one, green bottle I think. Smells bad, but it worked. Might take a couple applications with that much contamination but it turns purple to show that it is working.

So do I want this one:

Or this one?

I’ve used the green bottled one. I’m sure they’d both work.

Got the spray yesterday, tried a quick spritz today between the rain. It definitely works, but I may need another bottle! We'll see when I try it in weather than involves the sun. One wee little clean spot makes you realize just how bad the rest of the truck is. This must be a remnant of its previous life, dude did something in construction.

I did the driver's side twice and passenger's side once, almost out of juice. Couldn't really capture good before an after from a distance, but the truck looks dramatically cleaner now that the white is white instead of tainted with brown. Here's some shots of the door jam before:

It even got after the surface rust that's forming where the paint is missing. Stuff works great! The passenger side wasn't as bad, but still was covered pretty well in this iron dust.

I'm happy. Thanks everyone for your input.
