Hi guys I have an 81 cutlass. The arm of the turn signal has broken. 😢 I can still stick the arm in the blinker, and push up or down for the turn signal to work.
Do I need the entire turn signal assembly? Or
Can I buy the turn signal arm? I'm unable to find one online if you know, can you please post a part # or link to where I can find one? I'm lost...

Big question to ask is can you remove the broken part out of the column switch? If not & if that is also damaged the switch will also need to be replaced. Currently the Olds style lever would only be available would be used but any '78-'81 can donate to the cause. Some searching may find a NOS lever. Any '78-'81 A/G will fit along with '77-'81 B & C body. The Chevy one is repoped & sold by most resto parts places.

Got cruise or no? Not everyone knows what options you have on your car.

Cruise lever takes a 25031054.

I think this is one:

If no cruise, you take 22510114. Good luck. These are like one year only deals.

If the wand is broke, you'll find a hard time getting a non-cruise one specifically for Cutlass.

I THINK they make a repro for Chevy which may fit, but I don't know. You be the judge. GM # is 467302.

If the wand is intact, your switch is likely cracked/broken.

If it is with the cruise, there is a hole in the circuit connector at the end of the wire set. When you pull out the bad one, put a 18g wire about 4ft long through that hole and twist tie it on there. Unbolt the brackets holding up the column and pull that through with the wire you attached.

Twist tie that wire to the new one and use that to pull the connector through. If you don't, you won't be happy. You can also use mechanics wire.
