NO TURN SIGNALS ????'s

Easiest thing to do is make a jumper to replace the flasher module. Then see if you still have power at the end of the purple wire at the turn signal switch connecter. Check both sides of the connector sometimes these terminals fail and the switch is good but the connector is bad.

So do I have to drop the steering column to get to the purple wire and if the jumper wire works and I have power at the purple wire what does that means and what's the fix? Thanks

No you won't need to drop the steering column to test the wires. The reason to test all this is to see if the main wiring harness is burned out. After disconnecting the harness side of the connector you should remove the switch side of the connector from the steering column and get a few inches to work with.

Should have asked if there are any signs this car had a hitch or trailer wiring in the past? That often destroys that connector when you double the load by adding a second set of taillights.

Can anyone give me some advice on how to get turn signals and brake lights, my steering column guy says he is booked up and I noticed the fuse for the turn signals is loose in the fusebox but getting 12 volts from the fuse but no volts from the turn flashet? Thanks

I see noone has mentioned this.... since you've got the +12v(hot), check all the grounds.
