4L80E Terminator X Max wiring question?

...directly to the battery posts. Then you have a couple grounds and 4 red wires. 2 to 12 volts constant. Must be high amperage connections. They feed the transmission solenoids and injectors. The other 2 red wires go to key on key to crank 12 volts. Your 4.7 might be a sensor power. It's 5 volts.

    Fusible link

Hmmm well that's all very interesting... When is the last time the engine actually cranked, started and ran? Did you say it started, or at least cranked when you put a booster pack on it, or charger/jumper cables? Taking a step back from the starter, battery fusible links etc, have you tried...

1983 Big Block Monte Slow Build (Lowered Expectations)

They sure are proud of those plates, aren't they? https://www.kwikperf.com/collections/bbc-serpentine-conversion-kits/products/bbc-94-00-late-serpentine-conversion-kit-with-crank-pulley-adapter-k10544 At least the 350 Vortec stuff is a dime a dozen out here.

    more no crank gremlins

Turn your headlights on, are they normal brightness? Attempt to crank the engine, do they dim a little or at all (no change, flicker?) while holding the IGN switch in CRANK? -This is checking to see if maybe bad connection at battery/cables if they turn off. Or weak battery, also possible bad...

    Fusible link

...You can see Fusible Link A splits off to feed more than fusible link B does most importantly the IGN switch, and notice the purple wire when cranking to the starter solenoid that if it were pinched or touching ground on it's way to the starter solenoid it would blow Fusible Link A. Some...

    Cam you dig it?

...just about lines up with the book math that says it works out to around 350. Ironic thing here is that I already happen to have a 327 forged crank and it is sitting in that 400 block that I also happen to have :D. Only thing I am not sure of at this point is whether that crank happens to be...

    Cam you dig it?

If you do go with the 400, i know where a forged 327 crank is. It is 3.25 stroke. Makes a 352 there or about with +30 over bore. Using a 350 crank gets you about 377 which was old school NASCAR build, but not used any more. 30 over bore gets you 4.155 which is a lot of meat, but wind that up...

...running mine for 10+ yrs with Holley HP ECU, sequential injected and CnP but I'm traditional SBC and went with the Dual Sync Distributor for my Crank/Cam configuration. Rough Idle

I hadn't started the car in around a month. As I was cranking it felt/sounded like it backfired through the carb. It started right after that but it now idles a bit rough.....runs okay but almost acts like a vacuum leak at idle. Should I just try and chase a vacuum leak or do I now have a...
