BUILD THREAD 36x48x14 Shop Build Update 10/10/2024, Additional Lighting

That is the plan. I have 32 14'x12' heavy duty shelve brackets coming, and on the left wall over the cabinets there will be 2 rows of shelves. I have a bunch of the black and yellow home depot bins I can organize crap up there. You know, the stuff you get into once a year. One the right wall...

BUILD THREAD 36x48x14 Shop Build Update 10/10/2024, Additional Lighting

Nick, my last house had a smallish garage, it was a hodge podge of additions so it had more walls. I was like 3 16x18 sheds in a row. I only could put one car in it, the rest was shelving units on all the walls. This shop obviously only has 3 usable walls to stack crap against, which is...

All true!!! I've been trying really hard to thin out the herd, it's pretty impossible though since everything I have I'll "need someday". And it never fails, whenever I get rid of something I need it 2 months later!

BUILD THREAD 36x48x14 Shop Build Update 10/10/2024, Additional Lighting

Update time, I'll have pics soon. Most of my tools are in the shop, organized sort of. I picked up two 26" US General Series 2 boxes that I modified and fastened to the 2-44" and 14" I already have. I have both 2 post lifts installed and working too. The foam board insulation is done, and...

Nick, not sure how I completely missed your question, d'oh! The DCR stuff is pretty much there to stay, they aren't very keen on loosing trees since this forest is in its second growth. I have a few maples really close on the right as you can see, they'll come out in the future for expansion...

BUILD THREAD 36x48x14 Shop Build Update 10/10/2024, Additional Lighting

Update, I rented a large frame skid steer for the holiday weekend, and ran all over the land to gather fill so build up the sides of the shop. I also got 2 tri-axles each of shale and overburden (compactable fill). I used the shale and overburden for the front to build up and level out the...

Power and interballs are in the shop, I am writing this post from it now. I have 3 double gang 20a receptacle circuits, 2 every other box on the the back and side walls, and a 3rd on the front wall. The lights are currently on 2 circuits, but i may make it 3 for more light control. I also...

BUILD THREAD 81 Buick/Olds Turbo Wagon 02/15/2024 More Parts!

I probably could have went with a bigger cam with the 4.5L, but that snowballs, roller rockers, taller valve covers for clearance, I'd have to relocate my LS coils for clearance from the valve covers, yadda yadda. The 210/215 should be good with the TA HD shafts in the stock ported heads, and...

    A front swaybar brace, a good/useful idea?

If you can't source the factory bars, the UMI is a nice piece. I've been running a variation of said factory bars on every G-body I've owned and built.
