I'm surprised you didn't have the fire wrench & scrapper included. As for the seam sealers, I've came across them all removing the unneeded metal off the replacement trunk floor that was picked up a few years back. Not fun to deal with.- pagrunt

How Can You Get ONE Key For ALL The Locks On Your 79, or 83-86 A/G-body Car?
I didn't even think to look into what key in this set. Thought I was watching the other set in my list for Jr.'s car parts but wasn't there. Actually '78 is the same as '69-'77. '79 was the first year with the retaining screw.- pagrunt

Power mirror conversion
Finally I made some time this evening to try to do something with this project. Gathered up some of the mirror heads & pedestals to try to get the best combinations. I think I got the best set up I'll get with A/G parts. Passenger side will be using the etch pimer set as the glass frame moves...- pagrunt

How Can You Get ONE Key For ALL The Locks On Your 79, or 83-86 A/G-body Car?
Some time back I saw on Fleabay an export set for a A/G with the B key & contained all 5 needed locks to do the conversion. Boxed & ready for the assembly guys to instal or convert. Here's another set I found on a quick search...- pagrunt

ADVICE NEEDED FOR NEW ENGINE
I have this same Holley on my '81's L48 I built. It was also on the LG4 that it replaces. I picked it cause it was listed as emission freindly for the CCC removal from going from the 229 to the 305.- pagrunt

can someone help me id these connectors and wire colors...
!st is the turn signal switch connector, 2nd is the turn signal stalk mounted wiper switch connector, 3rd is the front to rear body harness with a piggy back connrctor for interior lights. What did you do to your non g-body project today [2025 edition]
Spent some time figuring out the rental Mercedes GLA250 so the wife can drive it for the next few day while her Santa Fe gets fixed from the gray chonky. Why do they have to add so much stuff to ust to operate the basic needed functions? It keeps telling me that I'm tired & need to take a break...- pagrunt

Here's some numbers on the 041 (right angle triangle cast mark). From my '70-'75 Chevrolet By The Numbers book, the L48 application is 1.94/1.50 valves & 63.305 CC for A, B, F, X. The Corvette (270) & Z28 (360) LT1 were 2.02/1.60 & 63.305 CC. Corvette 350/350 was 2.02/1.60 & 63.995. The 3927186...- pagrunt

Oil pressure gauge wiring
Oil pressure gauge sender wire will be tan. For the choke/oil pressure warning light it'll be green/white stripe for the light that goes to the C100 connector & two brown with one for the choke fuse that runs to the C100 connector & one that goes to the computer harness for the idle speed...- pagrunt

Is there an issue with you original? They do go bad but not too often. To ensure if you need one or not, make sure everything functions. Right now I'm guessing both speeds work & just need to put a test light on the two tweminals for the washer pump to make sure it lights when pushing to wash...- pagrunt

Any tips on replacing gauge cluster circuit board?
KInda good news on this is there are some on Fleabay in case the original gives up the ghost. I'm going to have to get one for a just on case for Jr.'s gauge conversion for when I paint the gauge pod.- pagrunt
