    Yeah, I agree. But the the head surface isn't perfect, has run time and won't be milled again, already too small of CC. Plus no more machine work for a while, $2270 to fix my boo boos, the other machine shops and assemble it!

    Really interested on how it drives. With your couple of upgrades over stock, it should perform quite nicely. Who would guessed, especially with the huge numbers from factory V8's the last few years that a Turbo V6 would be the new norm.

    For the small cap and rotor, step to the premium cap and rotor. I saw many misfires due to corroded caps on TBI trucks.

    Quick question: Adjustable Thermostat Probe Location

    I clamped mine against the upper rad hose. It isn't very accurate according to the Davies Craig controller but at least I didn't damage fins with the probe.

    Put the new alternator on, still not charging. I found the one wire where I put a connector for some reason, came unhooked. The other alternator squeaked from new and I always like having spare parts. Reconnected, taped the connection and no more squeak.
