No ls in this one, the turbo 6 keeps it interesting. Also, I thing your wheels are wided, but no matter, these wagons look bad *ss with 12+" wide rear tires. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Update. The lt blue thrust washer was the way to go. I pulled the spare trans out last night and yanked the valve body. After a good cleaning, I installed it in the rebuilt trans. A few air checks, and I installed it. I initially had the trans cooler lines leaking, damn stainless, but after...

I dont have the pin lengths, but, you should shoot for .060" with a stock style servo. I have the CKP billet servo, and the instructions called for a larger clearance, .120" if I recall. .13-.15 is huge. There are also pin extenders you could use, but welding some metal on the tip is cheaper. I...

Revisited the trans, got the light blue washer in there, gave me the .006" total I need. Torqued the front pump down, the governor housing, and a few other odds. Now, I have to yank the trans in the car out to get the valvebody. Then final assemble and install. Sent from my SM-G960U using...

My trans is almost done. Nice to see someone still fixing alternators. Its not as easy to source diodes and brushes locally anymore. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

So I ordered a new yellow, and a light blue from ckp to take up .005" play. My yellow is on the thin side and a bit black looking. I could probably get away with the 010" play, but I managed to get this far making everything in spec for the ckp manual. ATSG spec's are broader and looser. Sent...

I was reading, even in the ckp book, that they leak. I hit a few threads and chris chimed in, where he said pack the groove as with grease and leak check k to ensure there were no other leaks, I did and it was fine. So those teflon seals leak. I even stole the solid seals from the Input shaft...

So after so.e careful inspection, it's the teflon rings leaking some air. I've read a ton of threads and it seems to be common when bench checking with air. The piston pops up and down no issues. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Took it all back apart, checked the iron support rings and the teflon scarf seals on the input drum. When I check that hole on the input drum the piston pops up, but I get air out of the cooler line and the center hole of the input shaft. I'm not sure this is supposed to happen? I checked it...

So I ran into what could be a snag. I'm up to the front pump. After doing my air checks, I am checking the forward clutches in this hole, (7), and I am leaking air. I checked the center support out of the trans and all was good. Not sure what the deal is. Anyone have a clue? I've been...

Ok, got the CK billet servo in. The instructions for it call for .100 to .125" clearance, as measure without the lip seal and o ring, but with cushion springs. I set up a dial indicator and first got .150", so I TIGed up the tip, and ended up with .110". Note, the stock servo calls for .060"...

I stayed after work last light at assembled the rear section (.003"), and got my clearance in the center section to .008", took a #10 thrust washer. So, I am assembled up to the center support. I have to torque the bolts and do those air checks today, and press on.

I've been peeking in from time to time on your build, I like it. My next engine will be a 4.1 stroker for the car., and with the EBL SFI-6, re tuning will be a breeze. As far as the trans rebuild, I started with a BRF trans, so I have the good valvebody and governor already. I went with a...

I am using the CK book, along with the service manual and a few online builds I followed. I have been running the 200-4r in various cars, with different power. I had one in my last wagon, 11-8's on 17" street tires, D5 convertor, and a 150 shot with a 350 horse ZZ motor. I put 100lbs of...

Waiting on more parts. I have a thrust washer at the machine shop getting thinned out, and 2 on order. I did receive my center support rings, and low/reverse piston faceplate though. Here is the 1-2 accumulator block off plate also. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
