Used a 1/4-20 tap and plug for those holes.
The center support bolt.
And the 3-4 accumulator hole, with some blue loctite.

Chased all the bolt holes, just to be sure. Chris called me back this morning, he doesn't have the thicker sunshell thrust washers anymore, good thing I found the others on fleabay.
I am going to tap the center support bolt and plug it for the dual feed, and tap the hole to block the 3-4...
Found 2 thicker forward drum thrust washers on Ebay and bought them. Should have them Monday. This will allow me to get the rear section end play to the .002" to .004" I need. Right now I have .024".
I have another 2004r I want to do, so I am sure the selection will come in handy.

So after looking at the end play for the rear section, I have .024", the book calls for .002 to .004. So, called CK to get an .080" I put drum thrust washer to take up that .020".

Well, I need to order another low/reverse wave plate.
Also, I think the hole I need to add is .060", that was from doing some internet snooping on other builds. I think that is correct. Anyone have any input?
Also, I seem to have a few extra rubber seals from the kit. I've replaced them one...
Added holes to every flat on the forward clutch hub/Internal gear. These clutches and steels that came out had hot spots where there wasn't holes. I'm using the CKP, and service manual as a guide for this built.
But, I have a problem. I dropped the rag with 2+2 on this page and lost some text...
Got back at it a bit today, cleaned up the drum. The surface is flat, and the notches are in great shape.
More to come.

Jack, that stinks! At least I'm not the only one who broke them. I was going to use teflon, but the most I read they weren't necessary, and wore the drum faster. I dont know one way or the other.
I am doing a little hear and there as I have time, I hope to get it done through next week.

Jack, I have been using bushing dri ers, sockets, etc. At work we have most everything. I dont have all the bushing drivers at home.
I got my kit from CK. I did have an issue with the center support shaft iron rings, the replacements. I broke them trying to lock them back together. Ughh, the...
Jack, in work I have 4 different kitsch on bushing drivers. I have used something from each so far. So, I think it's hard to pinpoint one kit [emoji35].
I finished up the overrun assembly. Working on the center support now.
I mistakenly opened up the plastic thrust bearing oil feed hole on the...
Front pump is done and bagged up. Now I have the wagon in the shop, have to fix a tire, and throw it in the Lift to fix the rear drain plug leak.

Boost valve is out, drill and slide hammer did the trick. Now to press out the stator support.
I'm doing this in work, so it is taking a long time. I have do do a task at a time. I'm using it as training for my airmen.

You never know. I pulled this apart and all the soft parts look great, the band got jacked up.
I cant get the boost valve out, looks like I'll be drilling a hole in the center of it and using a slide hammer to get it out.
