Started the front pump today, it's the 082 housing, and in good shape. Fortunately the 10 vane pump rotor and slide are the same thickness as the 7 vane they are replacing. I have to open up the drain back hole now.
Also, the boost valve is stuck in the other half of the housing, I'll get it...
I have a 10 vane pump kit, wide band, alto frictions. Hardened stator support, billet forward drum, heat treated sun gear shell 3 clutch overdrive piston. I got the rebuild kit from ck, using his separator plate and billet servo. Picked up a 2800 stall l/u convertor also.

We are in the house, still have a few things to do though. I did manage to get some tools in the attached garage so I can do some minor maintenance.
I am now starting the rebuilt of the 2004r in work. The weather is getting nice, I need to get the wagon home in its stall.

Still nothing new, weather has been crappy. But work in work is slowing down, and I will start rebuilding the transmission. I need to get the car in the shop on lift and fix the leaking drain plug n the rear, and the LF tire is leaking. Soon....
Man that stinks. I had a half decent set I used, just used some non permanent adhesive and stuck them in there. A new set would be nice, hope something comes good out of this.

Funny, I have been running Optima's for years, and have recently had a sting of real bad luck with them. I've been looking for alternatives, like XSpower or something along those lines. I too make my own cables.
It's funny, I've been thinking about this thread. I have been building houses, haha. Mine and my dads. I have 3 weeks to finish mine, and the wagon will be in the attached garage.
I have no updates on the car, other than those c5/6 rotors have some rust on them.
Building a new house is eating...
Sorry I have been AWOL as of late. Every waking moment has been on my new house and work. My old house is up for sale, and the new house is dried in, and I am finishing up the shingles. Getting ready for the thrash to install all the mechanicals. I don't have a lot of time to do it. I'll...
