If you're trying to stay within a specific range for your speedometer why not just change the gear in the transmission for the speedo and run a rear tire that won't look so funky?
That tire is going to look goofy back there.
It's great. Has a digital read out of temp and has a little button on it to set turn on temp. Can't beat it for the price. I used compression style fittings to fit the temp probe into a fitting for the cylinder head instead of pushing it through the radiator.
I'm using a Derale setup that came with the shroud. And for the controller I'm using a $45 Davies-Craig relay setup. Best relay setup I've come across and super cheap compared to most. They're an Australian company mostly dealing with boats.
I went through 3 different controllers from bigger...
That still shows a 5/16 inlet. I guess it doesn't matter I can and probably will use AN fittings to match my fuel lines anyway. The conversation here just got me wondering about that for a bit.
I have an inline pump in my EFI setup. I regret not going in tank honestly and it's on the agenda for this winter. GN tank and an Aeromotive Phantom pump is what im switching to.
Static-X, Devildriver, and Dope in July. Then KoRn and Alice In Chains 2 weeks ago. Next is Black Label Society in October and hopefully I can catch Static-X and Devildriver again when they come back around in November.
Sounds hokie but I used a small open element valve cover looking breather for my vent. I put it on the vent line from the sending unit with a few inches of hose so it's not slammed against the trunk floor. Works great for me.
I have seen people drill a small hole in the gas cap before as well...
I could think of 100 better "best bets" than a freaking Nissan engine.
A best bet would probably either be the classic small block Chevy or an LS swap. That would be way cheaper, easier to fit and make work than a j* engine.
I didn't see any bad rust. I didn't even see any rust scale. I would hit it with a wire wheel and paint it with a good satin black paint. Then forget about it.
On the Camaro it's not the fuel door, just the license plate mount. It folds down to expose the trunk lid lock. Once folded down, it stays down unlike the G-body license plate bracket that springs back up.
And yes it's a bolt on upgrade, shoulda been that way from the factory but it's GM....
