One thing I read from a primer manufacturer is if you sand old epoxy. You should coat it with epoxy again before 2K. Ever since that’s how I’ve done my priming. Hope yours holds up
Now that I got my Chevette project back I’ve discovered GM did have 2 different sized sport mirrors in the 70s. The ones on the Chevette take the smaller glass thats sold for Gbodies

If as you say STREET USE, don’t bother with all the expensive options. I got my nine from QP Mosley standard. I did order GM billet tube ends for Camaro rear brakes and the fill and drain option. Unless you may someday change your intended use of the car keep the options to a minimum. THEY COST...
