I need a small but quiet muffler
Something I didn't see mentioned was a j-pipe. This is a misunderstood subject. Many factory mufflers, such as 2010 up camaro, have an internal j-pipe. A j-pipe is just a capped off section of pipe that allows sound waves (not airflow) to go in , bounce back, and cancel out. ABSOLUTELY NO... -

A little simple geometry & physics here. The closer to the hinge pivot point you are results in more travel and less shock strength. Opinions on acid/chemical dip for panels, and alternatives
I'm on a painting forum & most people on there don't care for por-15 or any similar products, especially on panels. First of all, it's still best to remove as much loose rust as possible. It's just a p.o.s. alternator with very poor internals if it doesn't charge at idle with that pulley. A 78 amp alternator should be fair for running fans I'd also agree with a larger output wire not being a bad idea , as well as checking engine grounds & maybe even adding another. LS/6L80E into G Body (El Camino)
The aerocoupe installation most definitely appears to have the engine & trans both sitting forwards and lower than my old ls/6 speed install , which needed a little tunnel reworking. it will have a hint more weight transfer to the front than average, but as long as the whole engine is lower...- jlcustomz
